Pranitha J kamat started her training in Bharathanatyam since a tender age of 5. She first started under the expert guidance of Mrs kumudini, based in Bangalore and later continued her learning in a renowned institution called Aruna kalavidaru under the supervision of Mr and Mrs.Arun. For the past five years she has dedicated herself completely to the art of Nritta and Nritya under her guru Mrs. Vandya Srinath where she successfully passed her junior exam and diploma in Bharathanatyam. She is now keen to expand her knowledge and skills in art of dance by pursuing Masters in fine arts. She has given many outstanding performances from the age of 6 to the tunes of 'Bharatanatyam' in various parts of India.

A few of her participations include Ponnaiah festival, kempegowda festival and dance programs organized by Indian institute of world culture, Kannada cultural organization and many more.

She is a graduate of MSc in Drug design and biomedical science from Napier University, Scotland. Currently, she is a PhD student working on xenotransplantation at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Under the guiding influences and encouragement of her mother, Mrs Sheela Kamat and her maternal grandmother, Late Mrs Vasanthi shenoy, she aims infect her passion for Bharathanatyam in others.

Interesting to say she is also an active sports person who has won many awards and championships while at school and College.

GURU - Vandhya Srinath

Guru Smt. Vandya srinath has dedicated her life to the pursuit of art since a tender age of 8, under the expert guidance of guru Smt. Radhakrishna of Venkatesha Natya Mandir. She sought further training from guru Prof. M. R. Krishnamurthy and Prof. Smt. Ambika Buch from Kalakshetra Chennai. Training in Abhinaya, under the great Gurus, Dr. Kalanidhi narayan and Smt. Krishnaveni lakshmanan has embellished her classical grounding.

Her institution Bhramara School of Dance took birth 15 years back and has developed artists of high caliber since then. As a choreographer she has been lauded for her creativity and has received wide spread critical acclaim for her feature and productions.
